A distinctive rock above the water
Raised coral limestone forms the cliffs beneath the grassy headland. The elephant-trunk-shaped rock is its best-known feature, but the waves, water colors and grassland are also part of Manzamo’s coastal landscape.
The rock extending over the sea defines Manzamo’s familiar outline. Grassland and surrounding water add to the scale of the landscape.
Exploring the area
The famous rock can be followed by a broader look toward the sea and grassland along the path. The headland adds a walking perspective to the sea views encountered on a drive through Onna.
